Getting to Atlanta Motor Speedway
AMS is located approximately 30 miles South of Atlanta on U.S. Highway 19 & 41 near Hampton.
TRAVELING SOUTH:
Main Access: I-75 South to Exit #218 (30 miles south of downtown Atlanta) and continue on Highway 20 west for 10 miles.
I-75 South to Exit #235 (15 miles south of downtown Atlanta) and continue on U.S. Highway 19 & 41 for 15 miles.
Alternative routes are available; however, not as direct.
TRAVELING NORTH:
I-75 North to Exit #205. GA 16 West into Griffin. U.S. Highway 19 & 41 North to Speedway. (20 miles)
I-75 to Exit #212. Hampton-Locust Grove Road West to GA 20. GA 20 to Speedway. (15 miles)
I-75 North to Exit #218. GA 20 West to Speedway. (15 miles)
ENTERING SPEEDWAY GROUNDS:
If travelling South on Hwys. 19 & 41 use Speedway Blvd. Be in right lane of U.S. Highway 19 & 41 South for Entrance A.
If travelling North on Hwys. 19 & 41 use Main Entrance or Richard Petty Blvd. Be in far left counterflow lane of U.S. Highway 19 & 41.
EXITING ROUTES: (To I-75)
Speedway Blvd. to U.S. Highway 19 & 41 North. Continue north through Jonesboro to I-75 or East on McDonough Road to I-75.
Main exit of the Speedway North or South on Highway 19 & 41. North on U.S. Highway 19 & 41 through Jonesboro to I-75 or East on McDonough Road to I-75. South (right lane only) on U.S. Highway 19 & 41 and follow signs to Griffin and SR 16 to I-75.
Richard Petty Blvd. To U.S. Highway 19 & 41 North or South. North on U.S. Highway 19 & 41 through Jonesboro to I-75 or east on McDonough Road to I-75. East on GA 20 on Hampton-Locust Grove Road to I-75. South on U.S. Highway 19 & 41 and follow the signs to Griffin and SR to I-75.
West on Richard Petty Blvd. To Woolsey Road. West on Woolsey Road to SR 92. South on SR 92 to U.S. Highway 19 & 41, and follow the signs to Griffin and SR 16 to I-75 or North on SR 92 to GA 85.
